Papagroove

Papagroove propose une fusion afro-funk entraînante et robuste. Son ADN puise dans l’afro-beat politisé, le funk, la soul, la pop vitaminée et le rock. Né d’un ensemble de treize musiciens en 2006, la formation a conquis le Québec en entier par sa musique percutante et sa force scénique brute. Maintenant composé de huit musiciens, la formation se démarque avec une imposante section de cuivres et s’appuie sur une section rythmique explosive. 

Avec le spectacle Y’annonce beau!, Papagroove sait faire preuve d’inventivité et de vivacité, toujours prêt à surprendre. La complicité de ses musiciens aguerris transcende en spectacle, exprimant indéniablement une quête d’audace et de liberté.

Formed in 2006 as a thirteen-piece ensemble, Papagroove has captivated audiences across Québec with its hard-hitting music and raw, electrifying stage presence. Now carried forward by eight musicians, the group is driven by a powerful horn section and an explosive rhythm section that fuel its dynamic live shows.  

With Y’annonce beau!, the band continues to push boundaries. Inventive and fearless, Papagroove continues to expand its live universe. On stage, the chemistry between its seasoned musicians is undeniable, channeling a shared spirit of freedom, audacity, and unrestrained creativity.
