Ry Van Der Hout – Mending Shards exhibition

Indoor

Mending Shards, curated by Jesse King, explores memory, intimacy, grief and healing through the work of artist Ry Van Der Hout. Using traditional stained-glass techniques, Van Der Hout deliberately shatters and repairs glass with solder, combining the fragments with photographic remnants of personal moments. Through themes of transformation and connectedness, the exhibition examines the relationship between emotions and memory and the process of understanding and healing.
