TIFA Presents East West Street: A Song of Good and Evil

Based on Philippe Sands' award-winning book East West Street, this multimedia stage production has sold-out to audiences around the world. It blends the voice of Metropolitan Opera star Laurent Naouri and music by Bach, Rachmaninoff and Leonard Cohen with narration by Sands and French soprano Natalie Dessay. Reflecting on the theme of global justice, East West Street explores issues of morality, art, and humanity against the backdrop of three men whose lives intertwined during the Nuremberg trials. How do two people at the extremes of good and evil find solace in the same aria? Through the power of words and the beauty of music, East West Street delivers a provocative exploration of heartache and hope.
